Seymour Duncan SH-2N JAZZ

The Seymour Duncan SH-2N JAZZ is a classic, moderate output humbucker. It is available in neck and bridge varieties but is especially popular in the neck position. Don't let the name fool you though as it's not only great for jazz, but also country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.

It provides an articulate and clear tone and sounds very sweet for fast runs. The brighter tone has slightly less output and is a good match with most bridge pickups. When distorted, the tone is full and bright and offers extremely smooth sustain. Comes with a four-conductor hookup cable for trick switching options.

The SH-2N can be bought individually or as part of a set. Most commonly when using a Jazz in the neck pair with an SH-4 JB (Seymour's favorite combination) in the bridge.
